Banyak cara untuk mengkoneksikan peralatan seperti komputer, handphone, printer dan sebagainya yaitu dengan media kabel (wire) dan tanpa kabel (wireless). Salah satu media wireless yang cukup terkenal adalah tehnologi Bluetooth. Kecepatan transfer data Bluetooth berasarkan versi nya adalah sebagai berikut : v1.0 = 1Mbps, v2.0 = 3 Mbps, v3.0 = 24 Mbps dan versi 4 adalah penyempurnaan dati versi sebelumnya yaitu lebih hemat energi dan jangkauan yang lebih luas. Pada umumnya semua handhpone jaman sekarang sudah memiliki fasilitas Bluetooh yang memudahkan kita dalam mentransfer data secara gratis. Begitupun komputer/laptop dapat kita pasang USB Bluetooth agar kita dapat membangun jaringan yang lebih luas lagi antara multi komputer dan multi handphone.
